REALIZE! 2016

Realize! National Online Forum deferred

English Online Inc. announced today that its annual Realize National Online Forum will not be held this year.  English Online has not secured finding to continue this project due to changes in federal funding priorities. Realize! Forum, a national conference for English as a Second/Additional Language (ESL/EAL) practitioners, has been attracting more than 800 participants from all over Canada since its inception in 2014.

The Forum has built a strong following among ESL/EAL practitioners as an alternative professional development of choice.  On its second run in 2015, it featured presentations on more than 30 topics from expert educators, curriculum developers and newcomer integration experts. Realize! Forum recordings are still available for viewing here: Realize!15 Video Gallery , Realize!14 Video Gallery. Educators are encouraged to access these resources as part of their professional development for the year.  They may email to request a certificate for viewing the webinars and send it to Natalia Aleko (naleko@myenglishonline.ca).

English Online has submitted a three-year proposal for REALIZE 2017 – 2019 to expand its services to the broader settlement sector and offer quality learning events for the community.
